Concerned about making sure we had a smooth transition

Our testimony concerning Darlene Price is unique.  We are not able to comment on how she performs as a real estate agent because she was not our agent when we decided to move to Charlotte in May of 2006.  Instead, she and her husband, Chuck, were the people whose house we bought.  We are only qualified to comment on the character of Darlene and from every interaction we ever had with her we can only say that she is a fine, quality person.  This in turn allows Mark and me to conclude that she would be such a trustworthy person to have along your side as you are deciding to purchase or sell a home.

This is what we noticed about Darlene.  She is very conscientious and goes above and beyond the call of duty.  She provided us with such helpful information throughout the entire process.  She was concerned about making sure we had a smooth transition into her former home and neighborhood.  She was always available to us through e-mail or by phone to answer any questions that might arise.  She and her husband also left the house in immaculate condition.  They cleaned carpets, left us some much needed tools to trim hedges and even came to our house months after the closing to show us how to use the tools.  They were required to do none of this.  They did so because of the kind of people that they are…….quality people.  Our real estate agent commented that in all her years of being in the real estate business she had never seen someone do all the Prices did to make our move so smooth.  

In this day and age when it is more and more difficult to find people that truly care about one another, we found Darlene to be a breath of fresh air.  We hope that we will not be moving any time in the near future, but Darlene provided us with a wonderful model of how to act and behave towards people purchasing your home.  As I said earlier, Mark and I can only conclude that Darlene would be a wonderful person to have as a real estate agent.  These qualities that made such an impression on us are very transferable and we know that they would serve you well if you were to select her as your agent.
